Psychic and Ministry Services Magikal Workings - Alchemy of the Twenty First Century Historical references to Alchemy cite Alchemical Practices as early as 3400 BC in Egypt and 175 BC in China. Knowledge of these practices are sketchy at best. However we do know a lot about the traditions of Alchemy in Medieval Europe, where Alchemy once again flourished. The Royal Courts of Europe became the patrons of Alchemists, having received the promise that their studies would lead to the ability to turn lead into gold. The Alchemists of this period worked within three areas of study; metallurgical, pharmacological, and spiritual. Their work carried on the practices of earlier cultures of Chinese, Egyptian, East Indian, Greek, Syrian, and Islamic people. It is the spiritual Alchemical works that we continue today, though there is a fine line between the different studies. These are the teachings of the Ascended Masters. Tools that have been available through much of womankind's history can still be utilized today. New tools are being developed and offered through many spiritual practioneers. We found the surge of interest in Aromatherapy interesting, because many of the floral and herbal components of aromatherapy coincide with ancient magikal lore. This new work substantiated that scents can open parts of the human conciousness, and augment their ability to overtake other aspects of life brought to consciousness. From stress to peace, or from the closing down of energy to the energization of our experience, are two of the many possibilities. For example, the scent of Jasmine is said to bring peace. That it does in Alchemical works. However we take this truth a step farther and use Jasmine in our workings to bring peace to the practioneer and to call upon Divine Spirit to heal and open parts of ourselves otherwise closed. The power does not lay within us, as teachers. The power lays with God, and it is her divine grace which we call upon to assist us in the transformation of our lives. Through her grace and our work, we can move from a state of separation to a state of love, from scarcity to oppulence, from fear to peace. Magikal workings are often referred to as Spells. This is rightly so, because the written word, the "spelling" out of that which is desired is an important part of the manifesting process. We prefer to use the word "Working" so that there is no misunderstanding regarding the nature of what we do. It is work. It is work done playfully and respectfully. "To him who hath shall be given." "As it is above, so it is below. As it is within, so it is without." Together we can create the consciousness of having and make it so above and within. Through this work it will be on the planet, in the physical universe. Designing the ritual, choosing the time and the components are the first stages of any work. We typically provide all materials. Many of the herbs we use are grown under the auspices of Magikal Principles here at The Sanctuary. Those that cannot be are consecrated and blessed to insure pure and Loveing influences. Creating candles, incenses, oils, baths, brews, soaps, magikal ink and talismans is all part of the process that we engage in to insure success. Clients are sent explicit instructions.
